This is a pavement construction at National Route No. 57, Naka-Kyushu Expressway (high-standard highway), which was decided to be opened in February 2015. The embankment construction utilized machine-controlled bulldozers incorporating state-of-the-art information technology. To showcase this cutting-edge technology, on-site observation sessions were conducted for construction companies and technical high school students.
The contractor served as chair of both the Road Pavement Council and the Safety and Health Council within the construction section. They prepared the pavement construction procedures for the Naka-Kyushu Expressway, coordinated multiple contractors, actively participated in local events, and organized pre-opening activities, such as cycling tours, for local middle school students and walking tours for residents. These efforts earned high praise and recognition.
