Construction of scenic pavement in one of Oita’s largest entertainment districts, home to numerous restaurants.

Because the road at the project site is a one-way street, frequent meetings with contractors in the neighboring areas were held to meticulously plan daily vehicle traffic guidance. Additionally, construction was carried out with great care to ensure that hotels, restaurants, and parking lots within the project site were not disturbed by noise, dust, or construction vehicle traffic. As a result, no complaints or issues arose. Furthermore, pedestrian traffic safety was ensured. As a consequence, the award recognized the accident-free completion of the construction and praised the beautiful finish of the natural stone pavement.
