Pavement work on the section of the Shin Tomei Expressway between Ebina Minami Junction and Atsugi Minami Interchange

The project area is a long, elevated road with a limited number of entrances to the main road. To ensure the smooth implementation of the project and the start of road service, schedules for each construction process were meticulously coordinated. Despite challenging weather conditions, including prolonged rainy days, the construction was successfully completed within a short project period of five months after the road was handed over.

To ensure efficient operations across both our contracted construction sites and those managed by other companies, critical information, such as hazard maps and accident case studies, was shared during the overall process meetings. Additionally, safety advice was provided at construction sites of other companies to enhance safety awareness throughout the entire project area.

Additional measures to eliminate industrial accidents included installing a rear monitoring system to prevent caught-between accidents with heavy machinery, expanding heatstroke prevention measures, and offering guidance to dump truck drivers on regular roads, including the installation of driving recorders. In addition, traffic safety measures on regular roads were actively implemented. In addition to these measures, the successful completion of the project without any accidents received high praise.
