Pavement Repair Work on the Maesawa-Kitakami Line and Additional Routes of the Prefectural Road, and the Rokuhara Area and Other Sections

By integrating 3D initial surveying and progress measurements with an on-ground laser scanner, 3D design data, and 3D machine control using a GNSS system, the company effectively reduced labor costs, shortened construction time, and achieved high accuracy in each process. By using laser scanners and the GNSS-based milling system, the company reduced labor costs compared to the TS system and improved safety by minimizing on-road work. The company also organized observation tours for high school students to experience ICT-based construction work (GNSS-based road milling and automatic marking robots), asphalt pavement workshops, and hands-on light-duty activities. Through these initiatives, the company educated students about ICT-based construction, helping to promote the adoption of ICT within the industry.
