Reason for the award
- Within the construction site, there was a shuttle bus stop to and from Es Con Field Hokkaido, a baseball park. Additionally, the construction period overlapped with the opening dates of Es Con Field. Therefore, nighttime construction could not occur during evening games at Es Con Field. As a result, the restricted areas for construction were adjusted during shuttle bus service hours and after the service ended to secure the operation of bus service, passage of pedestrians, and the safety. This approach allowed the construction to proceed without delays, resulting in an earlier completion than planned.
- The construction site was located on a road lined with numerous restaurants, including bars, and the work was conducted during nighttime hours. This caused construction hours to coincide with restaurant operating hours. To mitigate potential complaints, the construction site was divided into sections where work up to pavement installation could be completed within one week, and construction areas were restricted accordingly. Making the construction site visible helped prevent complaints from restaurants, which contributed to the successful completion of the project without any complaint.
- The regional contribution activities in this project were designed based on requests from the Town Development Center, which manages the construction area, to address the specific needs of local communities. (Donation of chairs to bus stops)
- Various ideas employed in this project included the active use of Nichireki products such as the L-seal tape, SUPER TACKZOL, and SUPER ROMENPATCH to enhance quality. Solar-powered LED lighting was also utilized for construction signs and on-site offices as a measure to achieve zero-carbon emissions.
