Outline

The HQ PAVERANE Construction Method is a slab surface waterproofing system designed to provide durability when used in conjunction with the leveling course. This method is easy to implement and effectively minimizes the cut-back of the existing tack coat. This method meets NEXCO’s performance standards, which involve applying a load equivalent to 30 years of service. (Since the waterproofing layer is applied on the same day as the pavement, a swelling resistance test is not applicable.)

Features

  1. PAVERANE Primer
This primer reduces cut-back and can dry thoroughly even when an existing tack coat is present.
  2. PAVERANE Coat
This product has high adhesion and is resistant to flow, even at high temperatures. It offers excellent resistance to plastic deformation even after being integrated with the leveling course.
  3. PAVERANE Mixture
FB (flat-bottom) mixture with a granular size of up to 5 mm This mixture, made from modified asphalt with excellent crack resistance, offers durability against repeated crack opening and closing.

Applications

  • Waterproofing layer and leveling course for RC slab bridges and PC bridges
