CLEANPHALT AFH

CLEANPHALT AFH is a premixed warm mix modified asphalt. The production temperature of the mixture can be lowered by 30°C, resulting in lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions.
The recycled asphalt mixture using CLEANPHALT AFH has the same properties as when polymer-modified asphalt type II is used.
This product is suitable for modified asphalt mixtures with a recycled material ratio of 30% to 50%.

Features

Compared to polymer-modified asphalt type II, CLEANPHALT AFH offers the following features:

1. Since the penetration is greater than that of polymer-modified asphalt type II, it blends well with aggregates, greatly enhancing the properties of the recycled modified asphalt.
2. The mixture’s production temperature can be lowered by about 30°C.
3. Since the shipment temperature of the mixture can be lowered, it shortens the time needed for the asphalt to cool down to an acceptable temperature for opening the road to traffic.
4. The mixture has the same properties as the conventional product.
5. When this product is produced at the same temperature as conventional polymer-modified asphalt type II, the available installation time is significantly extended. This makes it suitable for construction in cold weather as well.
