CLEANPHALT HDS

CLEANPHALT HDS is a premixed warm mix modified asphalt and is suitable for use as polymer-modified asphalt type III. The production temperature of the mixture can be lowered by 30°C, resulting in lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions.

Features

Compared to polymer-modified asphalt type III, CLEANPHALT HDS offers the following features:

1. The mixture’s production temperature can be lowered by about 30°C.
2. Since the shipment temperature of the mixture can be lowered, it shortens the time needed for the asphalt to cool down to an acceptable temperature for opening the road to traffic.
3. The mixture has the same properties as the conventional product.
4. When this product is produced at the same temperature as conventional polymer-modified asphalt type III, the available installation time is significantly extended. This makes it suitable for construction in cold weather as well.

Applications

• Asphalt pavement work on roads with extremely heavy traffic aiming to reduce CO₂ emissions during production.
• Asphalt pavement work on roads with extremely heavy traffic where early road opening is required
• Asphalt pavement work on roads with extremely heavy traffic where extending the usable time of the mixture is necessary, such as in cold weather construction or projects at remote locations requiring long-distance transport.
