CLEANPHALT SAH

Outline

CLEANPHALT SAH is a warm mix straight asphalt designed for use in premixed recycled asphalt mixtures. The production temperature of the mixture can be lowered by 30°C, resulting in lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions. CLEANPHALT SAR meets the JIS standards for straight asphalt grades 60/80 and 80/100.
This product is suitable for asphalt mixtures with a recycled aggregate ratio of 30 to 50%.

Features

Compared to recycled straight asphalt, CLEANPHALT SAH offers the following features:

1. The mixture’s production temperature can be lowered by about 30°C.
2. Since the shipment temperature of the mixture can be lowered, it shortens the time needed for the asphalt to cool down to an acceptable temperature for opening the road to traffic.
3. The mixture has the same properties as the conventional product.
4. When this product is produced at the same temperature as regular recycled straight asphalt, the available installation time is significantly extended, making it suitable for construction in cold weather and remote locations.
5. This product can be stored in a heated storage silo, just like regular straight asphalt mixtures.

*When this product is shipped with a 30°C lower production temperature, the wet mixing time should be extended by about 15 seconds compared to regular mixing durations.

• Asphalt pavement work aiming to reduce CO₂ emissions during production.
• Asphalt pavement work where early road opening is required.
• Asphalt pavement work where extending the usable time of the mixture is necessary, such as in cold weather construction or projects at remote locations requiring long-distance transport.
