Outline

CLEANPHALT SAR is a warm mix straight asphalt designed for use in premixed recycled asphalt mixtures. The production temperature of the mixture can be lowered by 30°C, resulting in lower fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions. CLEANPHALT SAR meets the JIS standards for straight asphalt grades 60/80 and 80/100.
This product is suitable for asphalt mixtures with a recycled aggregate ratio of 10 to 30%.

Features

Compared to recycled straight asphalt, CLEANPHALT SAR offers the following features:

  1. The mixture’s production temperature can be lowered by about 30°C.
  2. Since the shipment temperature of the mixture can be lowered, it shortens the time needed for the asphalt to cool down to an acceptable temperature for opening the road to traffic.
  3. The mixture has the same properties as the conventional product.
  4. When this product is produced at the same temperature as regular recycled straight asphalt, the available installation time is significantly extended, making it suitable for construction in cold weather and remote locations.
  5. This product can be stored in a heated storage silo, just like regular straight asphalt mixtures.
