GUMPHALT S is a Type I polymer-modified asphalt designed for non-skid, wear-resistant pavements.

Features

Compared to straight asphalt, GUMPHALT S offers the following features:

  1. Stronger adhesion that securely holds aggregates
  2. Less prone to embrittlement at low temperatures
  3. Firmly grips aggregates and resists stripping.

Applications

  • Nonskid pavement work (dense-graded gap mixture)
  • Wear-resistant pavement
  • Enhanced resistance to plastic deformation
