PENECOAT E is a cationic high-penetration asphalt emulsion designed for prime coating.
This product meets the standards of the Japan Emulsified Asphalt Association and complies with PK-P of the Pavement Design and Implementation Guidelines.
This product penetrates deeply into the base course, enhancing water resistance and stability. Additionally, its nonstick properties to tires improve construction efficiency.

Features

Compared to conventional prime-coat emulsion products (PK-3), this product offers the following features:

  1. This product is odorless and nonhazardous, allowing it to be handled just like ordinary emulsions.
  2. This product offers extremely high penetration with minimal stickiness, eliminating the need for curing sand.
  3. This product breaks quickly, allowing for the road to be reopened to traffic sooner.
  4. After breaking, this product forms a stable, thick layer that protects the base course.
