Polymer-modified asphalt type (binder designed for longer-lasting pavement)

SHINAYAKAPHALT is a polymer-modified asphalt that improves crack resistance and extends the service life of asphalt pavement. Its excellent flexibility and toughness help reduce pavement damage, such as cracks and rutting, leading to a longer service life for the pavement. In indoor testing, a coefficient of layer equivalency of 1.7 was achieved.

Features

  1. Because of its high fatigue resistance, it reduces the likelihood of cracks compared to conventional polymer-modified asphalt. This enables pavement construction with a longer service life.
  2. The crack propagation velocity is extremely slow, making this product effective at suppressing reflection cracks for a long period of time when it is used for milling and overlay work.
  3. This product offers the same resistance to plastic deformation as polymer-modified asphalt type II.
  4. The workability is comparable to commonly used polymer-modified asphalt mixtures.
